Uploader comment: This is a bit of a rarity, as its narrated by Tom Carter. A very different experience from the more common Roy Dotrice version. Fully intact with blurb, warning, copyrights (chapter 1 to chapter 12) and the full book content from chapter 13, (Bran) to chapter 97 (Location). If you want to dive directly into the story, start at chapter 12 for the prologue, or chapter 13 for the main story.
I did not care for the Roy Dotrice version at all - The voice work really ruined it for me. That’s why I tracked this Tom Carter version down. It baffles me that audible and such services don’t feature versions of popular work with and without character voicing.
Anyway, I recommend this one highly. Its a shame Tom Carter hasn’t narrated the next entries in the series.

Thank you so much! Roy DOtrice’s version is a true piece of garbage that destroyed all the experience to me that I hoped for.

Roy Dotrice is what made this set, remember the fuss about Jim Dale vs Stephen Fry in the Hairy Potter books, well Dale is the same type and incredible voice actor as Dotrice, this books needs different voices to separate the characters, thankfully from the comments above, I won’t need to download it. but Dotrice outsells Carter by how many zillion, what you meant to say was you pay your money and you takes your choice.

The one problem with Roy Dotrice was that his voice showed his age, which was about 150, when he made these. Maybe it would have been different when he was in his forties. Now a lot of his characters sound like demented dwarfs.
