Three young truants from a church meeting on Sunday make their way to a seashore hideaway, where they observe a huge black man muttering incantations and performing weird rites. Much as I love all the Golden Age detective stuff that is your usual métier, I can’t wait to listen to this as I hope it will bring back memories as it was one of the first ’set’ books we were given at school.
