Is this a new reader or better recording from the one 4 years ago?

Hey, @farmerboyjon. Could you explain why you shit on the author’s chosen cover art by switching it to your own generic LLM-generated garbage?
I’ve checked all of your uploads, and it seems to be your goal to swap the perfectly fine covers to your own filth.

That’s not an explanation to why you do this, @farmerboyjon.

I was over on Scribble Hub the other day where some of my work is posted and someone was dropping covers very much like this one into the forums for comments. He got soundly roasted, because while Obvious AI isn’t a problem per se, it’s forgiven far more readily than AI text, where every grabs the torches and pitchforks, but it’s just… BAD. As in this case, they were way too busy, all drama and no actual substance, and there was something vaguely repulsive about them, that grew on you the more you looked.
Unless this cover is tied to a scene from the book, which I doubt, it’s just… bad. Maybe cool to have on a poster on your wall that you don’t look at very much, but… bad.
To be fair, I don’t like the real cover much either, but that’s just an art style thing. It isn’t *bad,* just not to my taste.
THIS one *is* bad, in the way you can only get by throwing AI at something and not really thinking much about it.
