This is a good audiobook.
The manga skips over much of the details in the audiobook but is still a good read.

I am a huge Star Wars fan. I am not the biggest fan of what Disney has done to Star Wars. That being said this is one of the best Star Wars books I have ever read.

I rather hate what Disney has done to Star Wars in its entirety!
That is their blank slating of anything other then the basic movies, along with everything to do with their new recreation/vision/take on the Star Wars Universe. — their politics social cultural mindfudgery.
They (Disney and Co) totally killed Star Wars for Me, so everytime I see anything about Star Wars nowadays I get angry.
Three decades of enjoyment reading/watching anything to do with Star Wars - and now its only.. Ashes.
Just felt I had to get that of my chest.

It probably makes for a good listen but now I wonder what kind of message will truly be delivered.
Disney = Evil Mind manipulators of youths cloaked in sunshine and pretty rainbows imo.

Not sure why people are getting all argumentative on this thread, but I will pipe in.
Star Wars is, always has been, and always will be amazing.
The new canon is fantastic, and this is my favourite novel from it, to date!
Legends is also absolutely amazing. I love many, many of the novels (Darth Bane trilogy, Plagueis, Kenobi, Han Solo trilogy, Absolutely anything and everything with Thrawn in it… the list goes on). But it was about time they rebooted the series.
It was getting convoluted to the point where making new films would be all but impossible to follow to all but the most die-hard amongst us. On top of that, as the canon expanded (Clone Wars, for instance), we were getting a lot of contradictions to the point where we had to rely on levels on canon.
This was not sustainable.
Rebooting was the only option. I know, I was devastated as well. But the more you think about it, the more sense it makes.
Legends will always be there. As will many aspects of Legends be adopted into canon.
Just sit back, relax and enjoy Star Wars! Let it evolve and grow and still be the most kick ass thing in the galaxy. No need to bag it!

This is easily one of the best Star Wars books so far, old EU included
Not sure why MontyII is getting his panties in a twist with his wrongness. Nothing has been destroyed, its not a blank slate situation (has he not noticed Thrawn?) and it is still LUCASFILM, not just Disney - theyre just the bank
