Just finished the first book. Solid so far. Slow burn, lots of “slice of life”. Light on buildcrafting - upgrades usually just happen with little deliberation. A little horny sometimes (the whole half-elf situation…), but mostly comes across as attempts to show that the MC is a good guy.
If you liked Mother of Learning, this probably won’t be as good, but I think you’d like this as well.
